The man who wears many hats can now add quite the feather to one of his caps.

Ryan Seacrest interviewed President Barack Obama on his radio show this morning.

Since it is Election Day, the commander-in-chief used the opportunity to encourage folks to get out there and vote.

"You can't shape your future if you don't participate," Obama said. "This is such a critical election because we're living in a huge moment of change in this country."

And while the conversation touched on topics like immigration reform ("We're a nation of immigrants, but we're also a nation of laws") and the continued threat of terrorism ("We need to remain vigilant"), the dialogue wasn't all serious.

The president dished that on Halloween his daughters, Malia and Sasha, dressed up as a Sour Patch girl and a turkey, respectively.

And when he takes first lady Michelle Obama out on a date, the leader of the free world takes the lead when it comes to making the arrangements.

"Absolutely," Obama said. "Because she'll check, and if she thinks someone did all the work then I won't get all the credit."
