People don't just "come to" stars. The designers and their publicists pay the stars. To wear their stuff. Tens of thousands of dollars. To wear a dress or a diamond necklace for a few hours. Like, Hilary Swank and Charlize Theron both reportedly earned $100,000 to wear diamonds from Chopard at the Golden Globes a few years ago.

Do stars like Victoria Beckham and the Kardashian sisters really design their own lines, or do they just put their names on the products?

Depends on the line. Some stars just license their names and let designers do the rest, while other like to obsess over zippers and color swatches. But no celebrity designs an entire collection alone. They all have real designers working with them to create the final collection.
How can I nanny for the celebs, like Britney Spears or Brad Pitt?
