Paris Hilton's security guards are earning their paychecks this year.

For the second time in two months, a man was arrested on the heiress' property after making a spectacle of himself.

But while the other accused intruder made it clear that he wanted in and has been accused of attempted burglary, this guy was cut off at the pass.

An LAPD spokesman tells E! News that a man on a bicycle, later identified as 36-year-old James Rainford, went through the main gate of Hilton's gated community at about 12:15 p.m., pedaled right up to Hilton's house and started banging on her front door.

"A security guard tried to stop him," police said, but the guy "ignored" him and continued what he was doing, prompting the guard to call the cops.

Rainey was booked at the LAPD's Van Nuys Station on suspicion of battery for what allegedly went down with the security detail, which managed to restrain the avid knocker until officers arrived.

Bail was set at $20,000.
