NKOTB Buzz Kills Rumors of Madge, Michael Duets

New Kids on the Block's reunion only has room for one fellow '80s hitmaker, thankyouverymuch.

While the comeback-minded all-grown-up boy band has already confirmed it's dueting with the regrouped New Edition, Donnie Wahlberg has taken to the group's website to dispel rumors that he and the guys have sought out collaborations with Madonna and Michael Jackson.

"While I enjoy any hype for our album...And while I also (sometimes) enjoy the audacity of people writing blatantly fabricated 'news' articles...We are NOT recording with Michael Jackson and/or Madonna," Wahlberg writes on the band's blog. "We never claimed to be either."

Though the speculation isn't true—or, for that matter, widespread—Wahlberg nevertheless got a kick out of the report.

"Good fun reading about though! Sorry to let ya down...Or not."

However, Wahlberg did hint that NKOTB has some other guests in store, not that he's willing to divulge that information just yet.

"Can't wait til you all hear who we did do some collabo's with!!!!!" (Of course, he could just be referring to the already disclosed New Edition hookup.)

The group is currently rehearsing for the tour, which kicks off Sept. 18 in Toronto. Their album is due out sometime this fall.
