If you didn't know, Spider-Man is getting a makeover on the big screen.

Why? Well, we're not sure.

What we do know is director Marc Webb wants his "reboot" to follow the comics more closely AND our Spidey sense is tingling about the new rumored cast.

First off, we already know our main man Peter Parker a.k.a Spider-Man will be played by Andrew Garfield, who is currently topping box office numbers in The Social Network.

But who will play Mary Jane Watson, you may ask? NY Mag says it's none other than our favorite Easy A star, Emma Stone.

But in this version of Spider-Man, Mary Jane is not Spidey's main squeeze. Director Webb (and yes, he's got the perfect name to helm Spider-Man) will introduce the character Gwen Stacey, who is Peter's initial love interest in the comics.

Alice in Wonderland's Mia Wasikowska and Glee's Dianna Agron are reportedly among those said to be up for the role.

And lastly, who will play Spidey's villain, Venom? MTV says the spot could be filled by Philip Seymour Hoffman. Nothing's been finalized and it's still in the "early unconfirmed talk" stages, but we're sure PSH would absolutely kill as Venom.
