Buzz that Rachel Zoe is pregnant began earlier this week…
Just two days ago the reality-TV star stylist's rep (yes, she has a personal publicist. Oy.) denied she was expecting her and hubby Rodger Berman's first baby. But earlier today, she issued the all-encompassing let's-leave-everyone-guessing no comment.
Last night, OK! mag reported that Zoe and Berman have started sharing "the news with her closest friends." Plans, the tabloid claimed, include Zoe taking maternity leave from full-time styling immediately following next year's Oscars.
Oddly enough, the story is no longer on OK!'s website.
Talk of the ultra-skinny Starbucks fanatic becoming a first-time mom someday has been a running story line in the latest season of her hit Bravo reality show.
"Rachel isn't getting any younger and I'm starting to feel like if we don't get on it, we'll miss the opportunity which would be a complete shame as I know that Rachel would make an amazing mother," Berman wrote in a post on his bravotv.com blog on Aug. 10.
Zoe (real name Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig) turned 39 last month.
Of course, a Zoe-Berman baby is destined to be the most fashionable trendsetting tot in the sandbox. Prada pale and shovel, anyone?
As for Zoe's maternity wear? We expect baby bump galore. "When I'm pregnant, I don't know what I'm going to look like," she said during the episode that aired on Aug. 10. "But I would imagine that I'm gonna want to accentuate my stomach because I think it's really beautiful to show off your body."
And if she really wants to take it easy during the pregnancy, she can always hire Brad Goreski to style her. We hear he's available.
