There is someone new making waves in Jessica Simpson's life.

After a fallout with her longtime mane man and constant sidekick, Ken Paves, Simpson has moved on to a new hairstylist, a long-haired redhead she labels her new "BFF" in a twitpic posted over the weekend.

"My BFF and I in Houston after an amazing in store! She rocked my hair out! Feelin' sexy! Love u ladybug!" Simpson tweeted, in what seems like a stab at Paves after the duo drifted apart over the summer.

Simpson and, um, Ladybug are shown sitting in a red leather restaurant banquette, the star's long blond locks set in waves. Both women are giving the peace sign to the camera.

Earlier this month, a Simpson insider told E! News that the singer and Paves, once inseparable, had a "major fight,"  and that Simpson was "devastated" over it.

"She loves Ken. He just won't speak to her at all," said the friend.

Simpson even tried to make amends back in July, inviting Paves along to her 30th birthday party in Capri, where she brought along her family, girlfriends and new boyfriend Eric Johnson for a relaxing getaway. Paves turned her down.

"Jessica was heartbroken, they were so close. Maybe one of them will come around," the source says.

The two have softened a bit, and although they haven't seen each other or been snapped out in public, they have been sending sweet tweets to each other.

Paves did not attend her denim debut at Fashion Week in New York, he did send her a tweet reading, "@JessicaSimpson have an amazing show!! Strut your stuff ladies!"

And yesterday Simpson Tweeted to Paves, "Holy Dexter!!!!! Our show is back on in full force!"

Paves had insisted there was no rift between the two, telling E! News he's been unable to travel to see her because of projects and "different schedules."

Too bad, Ken, it looks like someone new found time to squeeze her in.
