Here's a real Hollywood happy ending.

NCIS star Pauley Perrette, who announced in a plea for help over the weekend that the relative of a friend had been reported missing, is happy to report back that the young woman has been found—safe and sound.

Perrette, who described herself as a friend of the family, said that Lami Nicole Powlesland had last been seen Wednesday near Runyon Canyon, a popular hiking spot in the Hollywood Hills. Some of her possessions had been found along the trail.

Perrette told E! News Monday that she was "very thankful" that E! and other media outlets helped spread the word so quickly. The actress would only say that she had been with Powlesland's parents when they got the call that their daughter had been found.

The LAPD confirmed that officers discovered Powlesland's 2008 Jeep Liberty—with her in it—at about 1 p.m. today in the parking lot of a Ralphs supermarket in Hollywood.
