Renée Zellweger and Bradley Cooper are finally ready to creep us out, and with something other than PDAs.

Originally set to hit theaters in 2009, psychological thriller Case 39 was pushed back until October of this year. Check out the eerie trailer to find out why Bradley's pulling bugs out of his ear...

In Case 39, Emily (Zellweger) is a social worker trying to get 10-year-old Lilith (Eclipse's Jodelle Ferland) out of a seemingly abusive home, and Cooper plays a psychiatrist colleague, helping her assess the girl's troubled psyche.

But were Lilith's parents really the abusers?

Emily manages to bring Lilith home with her, hoping to provide some semblance of a safe, loving place to stay. She should really know better. Emily discovers that the girl's parents would barricade themselves in their own room at night, and when her own house gets a bad case of the creaking hardwood floors and mysterious whispers, it quickly becomes clear that some serious (if not supernatural) psychological baggage is at play here.

Oh yeah, and those bugs in Bradley's ears are probably a bad sign too. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think.
