Lindsay Lohan's stint in rehab could be ending super early.

The troubled actress' lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, just finished meeting behind closed doors in the Beverly Hills courthouse with prosecutors and the new judge overseeing Lohan's case.

A source tells E! News that Holley was making her argument to have Judge Elden S. Fox agree to Lohan's early release from what was supposed to be a 90-day stint in treatment at UCLA Medical Center. So far, Lohan has lodged 74 days.

After 15 minutes, Holley and Deputy D.A. Dannette Meyers walked out of court smiling but declined to comment on any timetable for a release.

However, Holley did say she felt "effervescent" and confirmed she had recently visited with Lohan.

"She's good, but that's all I am going to say. She's good."

Another hearing has been set for Aug. 25.
