Halle Berry: Nahla's Daddy Is "an Amazing Father"

In the new issue of Vogue, the Oscar winner reveals she has no hard feelings toward her ex, Gabriel Aubrey, and says their child will always come first

To hear Halle Berry talk so kindly about her little daughter Nahla's father, it's almost hard to believe they broke up.

"We were meant to bring this amazing little person into the world," she says in the new issue of Vogue regarding her nearly four-year relationship with Gabriel Aubry. "And I think that's why we came together. And because of that, we are going to be together forever, all three of us. We are a family until we are not here anymore."

But the Oscar winner doesn't stop there when it comes to waxing poetic about her baby daddy…

"We're still friends, we love each other very much, and we both share the love of our lives," she points out. "And while it was not a love connection for us, he was absolutely the right person to have this child with because she is going to have an amazing father."

Halle also says that, despite her and Gabriel no longer being romantically involved, Nahla will never cease to be their top priority.

"We'll make sure we always do what is right for her and put her first."
