E! News has confirmed that the superstar hip-hop producer and sometime rapper owes more than $2.4 million in back taxes to Rockland County, N.Y.
Per documents filed with the county clerk's site, the tax liens stem from assessments the 31-year-old hitmaker, real name Kasseem Dean, failed to pay taxes on a New York residence coowned with his ex-wife, singer Mashonda Tifrere.
He and Tifrere divorced in April 2008, around the same time he started dating Keys. The couple, who tied the knot last weekend, are now expecting their first child together.
Reps for Mr. and Mrs. Beatz haven't returned calls seeking comment.
