In all likelihood, Teresa Giudice is going to have a few less tables to flip after next month.

The trustee presiding over the Real Housewives of New Jersey matron and hubby Joe's bankruptcy proceedings has scheduled an auction to unload the pricier furniture and other luxury items from the couple's Towaco home.

Giudice, meanwhile, is in denial, telling E! News that no such thing is happening.

"The auction isn't happening, [you] can't believe everything you read," she says. Accordingly, the website detailing the sale info went down this afternoon.

But it sounds as if there's been a communication breakdown somewhere along the chain of command.

"The debtors are obviously not too happy that they will be holding the auction," Harry Byrnes, a managing partner at A.J. Wilner Auctions, which was hired by the trustees, told E! News (just before Giudice said that the auction wasn't happening).

It's up to the trustee to recoup as much money as possible for the bank, hence the sale, Byrnes added.

The Giudices filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in October after falling way behind on their mortgages and other bills. Documents obtained by E! News last month showed $8.7 million in liabilities.

Shortly after the details of their financial issues went public, their fairly new 10,000-square-foot home went on the market for $3.99 million—only to disappear from the realtor's website barely a day later.

Among the goodies that may be up for auction are a Schaefer & Sons grand piano, a Sea-Doo Bombardier X20 jet boat, a couple of LCD television sets, a foosball table and a tandem axle 10-foot dump trailer (it hooks onto the back of a vehicle). Those, plus a variety of living room furrniture, a master bedroom set, chandeliers and mirrors.

The auction was scheduled for Aug. 22 at noon.

If anyone's in the market for a snow plow and a suit of armor, they might be in luck.
