The 31-year-old American Beauty star wed 25-year-old music producer Simone Sestito in Vatican City, Italy, Saturday, according to People.
Suvari told E! News back in 2008 she planned to scout wedding locations in the romantic country while she attended the Rome Film Festival for the premiere of her movie, Garden of Eden.
"I really want it to be romantic and like a fairy-tale wedding," Suvari told E! News of her nuptials.
As for what she planned to wear down the aisle, Suvari dished that she hoped to sport a gown designed by a famous fashionista friend.
"I want to work with my friend Stacey, who designs Alice + Olivia, to design a dress," Suvari said.
According to Us Weekly, those plans were put into action. Suvari reportedly walked down the aisle in a wedding dress from the brand.
The newlyweds began dating after meeting in September 2007 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Sestito popped the question to Suvari during a trip to Jamaica in summer 2008.
This is the second marriage for Suvari, who tied the knot with cinematographer Robert Brinkmann in March 2000, at the age of 21. The couple split in 2005 citing irreconcilable differences.
Ironically, Suvari is set to star in the upcoming comedy, You May Not Kiss The Bride.
