Heard the one about Conrad Murray boozing it up at a strip club the night before Michael Jackson died?

Well, Murray has and he's not happy about it.

A rep for the not so good doctor shot down Joe Jackson's claim that he administered propofol while under the influence or otherwise engaged in any sort of behavior unbefitting a physician on the eve of Michael's death.

In fact, he went so far as to say allegations of such behavior were not only untrue on that occasion, but they would be untrue on any occasion, thanks to one very important but apparently ignored-by-Joe detail.

"Dr. Murray does not drink," Miranda Sevick, the spokeswoman for Murray's defense team told E! News. "It is complete and utter nonsense, just ridiculous."

Backing up his straight-as-an-arrow story is a waitress at the Los Angeles strip club Sam's Hofbrau, where Joe claims Conrad spent the night of June 24, 2009. The woman, who worked that night, corroborates Murray's version of events, namely that he never stepped foot in the establishment.

As for the ever-litigious Joe, Sevick confirms that while the patriarch's attorney Brian Oxman sent a letter indicating his "intent to file" a wrongful death suit against the doctor back in March, he has yet to actually follow through on his intention. He still has time, however, as California law required him to give 90 days' notice on the legal action.

The new allegations of 11th hour debauchery are ostensibly the first volley in a lawsuit to come. Not that Team Murray is holding its breath on any official documents.

"They filed an intent to file, and it summarized everything," Sevick said. "We're not going to speak to anything specific in that summarization until we have something publicly filed that we can speak to."

She added that Murray's defense does not know when or even if the lawsuit will be filed. Joe's lawyer has yet to comment on the pending litigation.
