Lindsay Lohan: Clean So Far and "Doing Great," Source Says

Court documents detailing Lilo's cocaine use will undoubtedly be used against her if a civil case against her goes to trial

We have an answer for all those wondering whether Lindsay Lohan could find a way to somehow trick her booze-sniffing bracelet or game her drug tests.

So far, so good.

E! News has learned that Lohan already has passed two court-ordered random drug tests. She has also managed to refrain from drinking and thus there have been no SCRAM alerts.

"She is doing great, totally focused on work," a source close to the troubled star tells E! News. "She feels really good and she seems really happy."

Considering what we now know about her past exploits, it's a good thing she's laying off the party-hearty lifestyle.

A two-year-old incident report has just emerged, filed by the Santa Monica Police Department in the wake of an Lohan DUI bust following a bizarre vehicle chase.

The document surfaced as part of the discovery process in a civil suit filed against Lohan by Tracie Rice, a passenger in the vehicle Lohan was pursuing that night, and it confirms what LiLo watchers have known for some time: that Lohan was packing cocaine.

Per the report, officers padded down Lohan and found a "paper bindle" in her right rear pants pocket containing "an off-white powdery substance" that investigators later confirmed to be a half a gram of cocaine.

The report reveals how the cops nearly fumbled the evidence, quoting one officer as stating that "he observed a large portion of the substance fall from the bindle and land on the floor" as an officer passed it to a colleague.

While she had some 'splaining to do, Lohan didn't do herself any favors with her alibi.

In a sworn statement, the erstwhile Teenage Drama Queen star asserted that the jeans she was wearing actually belonged to a friend and she had no clue the drugs were in there.

"I am wearing a pair of borrowed jeans from a friend/assistant...she wore a pair of my jeans," wrote Lindsay. "I am sober. Promises in Malibu, CA, I left 2 wks ago or so & completed my stay & will continue to be drug free."

She even went so far as to state that her then-19-year-old assistant and her boyfriend "currently use & may have set me up" and that "her mother is also a user."

Ouch.

Lohan concluded by affirming her own (what we now know to be false) sobriety.

"I don't do drugs. Thank you. God bless," she wrote.

Unfortunately Lohan's affidavit didn't jibe with the facts: a Lohan urine sample collected by  police turned up positive for the presence of cocaine.

That's in addition to the thespian's blood-alcohol level, which tested out at 0.12 and 0.13, respectively, after two Breathalyzers, well above California's legal limit of 0.08.

In the end, Lohan pleaded no contest to two DUI counts and guilty to two counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance; she was sentenced to a day in jail and three years' probation.

But now the big question is how Rice's attorney will use these past damaging statements against Lohan should the civil suit go to trial.

What we do know is that the past actions won't have any bearing on her latest legal drama. Only her present behavior.

Lohan is facing a probation violation hearing after skipping a required court date last month to party at the Cannes Film Festival, incurring a arrest warrant and the ire of the judge.

Following her truancy, Lohan was told to refrain from drugs and booze, fitted with the ankle-accessorizing SCRAM device and ordered to undergo random drug testing at least once a week.

Lohan, 23, remains free on $100,000 bail pending her July 6 hearing.
