After claiming MIA passport in Cannes, absentee actress touches back down in Los Angeles to face court date

Having given up yachts for airplanes, Lindsay Lohan has finally made her way back to the U.S.A. today after a party-hearty sojourn in Cannes.

After claims of a stolen passport sent a judge into a tizzy, the erstwhile Teenage Drama Queen managed to get her hands on another one, and touched down at Los Angeles International Airport shortly after 7 p.m.

She's expected to head straight to her condo in West Hollywood. Only time will tell if she manages to avoid the club scene before her courtroom showdown.

Although Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel issued a bench warrant for Lohan's arrest on Thursday, the warrant was revoked after Lohan's lawyer posted $100,000 bail and promised the actress would appear in court Monday morning.

Revel has even delayed her own vacation to face off with Lohan. At Monday's hearing, the 23-year-old trouble magnet will formally be ordered not to drink any alcohol, fitted with a booze-sniffing SCRAM device on her ankle and will be subjected to random drug testing. If she slips up, she could be headed to jail.

"If she's not in violation of probation, great news for her," Revel said Thursday. "If she is, we'll deal with that."

If Lohan had decided to stick it out on the Riviera, though, she would have faced an even worse fate, according to criminal law expert Darin Kavinoky tells E! News.

"If she doesn't come back then her bail would be forfeited and they will immediately issue a new arrest warrant," says Kavinoky, who is not involved in the Lohan matter.

Lohan would possibly face a lawsuit from the bail bond company to recoup the $100,000, and that's not all.

"It will make the judge so angry that it would be highly likely that [Lohan] would be remanded," he tells E! News. "If she doesn't appear it would not be unusual to me that when they finally catch up with her, they arrest her and that she would be in jail."

And we hear they don't have yacht parties there.
