Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen?

Not gonna happen, says a costar.

"If we don't have Charlie, we don't have a show," Jennifer Taylor, who plays Christine on the hit sitcom, told us at this weekend's Race to Erase MS gala in L.A. "I'm just hoping we're going to have a show."

Taylor insisted she hasn't been told one way or the other whether Sheen will return for another season or two. "You know what?" she said. "I think it's a toss-up. I think Charlie would be at peace if he walked away, but I hope he won't."

And despite the ongoing troubles in his private life, Taylor said he never brought them to work.

"He was wonderful," she said. "He was always professional. He was always kind. All that stuff you hear in the press is not the Charlie I know."

CBS and Warner Bros. are expected to announce Two and a Half Men's future any day now in time for the television network's upfront presentation on May 19 in New York City.
