CoCo Duets Onstage with Superman Jim Carrey

Superstars sing about problems of superheroes as Conan O'Brien's Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Televisio tour comes to L.A.

A show really isn't a show until Jim Carrey walks on stage in a Superman costume and belts out a tune.

Such was the case Saturday night at the Los Angeles pit stop of Conan O'Brien's Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour, when the funnyman joined CoCo on stage for a tongue-in-cheek rendition of Five for Fighting's "Superman (It Ain't Easy)."

But that wasn't the only surprise the former Tonight Show host had in store for fans…

Aziz Ansari, Jonah Hill, Jon Hamm and Jack McBrayer hit the stage later in the night to announce the name change of the "Walker, Texas Ranger Lever" (a bit now owned by NBC) to the "Chuck Norris Policeman Handle".

The stars took turns yanking the lever to pull up joke-worthy scenes from the show, with Ansari donning a snazzy white suit to do the deed.

But not even Ansari's suit could save him or McBrayer from Hamm's cracks.

"I'm just glad I'm not one of the guys who works for NBC pulling the handle," the Mad Men star joked.

While CoCo didn't desist from cracking NBC jokes either, the show ironically took place at Universal Studios' Gibson Amphitheater, just a few hundred feet away from his old Late Night stomping grounds.

"This is my first time back at Universal Studios since I lost my job," O' Brien said to the audience, who began to boo. "Don't boo too loudly. If you listen very carefully, you can hear bad ideas being green-lit."

The audience (like the stage) was packed with stars, including Megan Mullally and her Parks and Recreation star hubby Nick Offerman, David Spade, Katy Perry and fiancée Russell Brand and The Office's Craig Robinson.
