The most famous mother of eight just wrapped up her press tour. Now it's the most infamous mother of eight's turn.
As threatened promised, Octomom Nadya Suleman will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show tomorrow, not only to show today's dime-a-dozen mistresses how to properly milk a scandal (15 months and counting!), but to share her new life perspective with a less than admiring public.
Suleman, it turns out, has changed. Or at least gained the financial problems cojones life perspective to finally set the haters straight.
When Oprah asked what the public's biggest misconception of her is, she replied, "Everything, everything, everything. From the moment I woke up, I have been placed into this unfamiliar life, foreign and foreboding."
Well, we'd argue her role was slightly less passive than that, but the path to self-awareness is apparently best taken in baby steps...
"This fictional character, Octomom, is the antithesis of who I am as a person and who I represent," she emotionally went on.
She only realized the disconnect when the public began telling her who she was—someone who, they seemed to agree, was "seeking fame, having eight babies to be famous."
Unfortunately, we left our Many Expressions of Oprah decoder ring at home, so we can't be sure if Oprah's look off camera at that exact moment was a knowing nod of solidarity or a who's-she-kidding smirk. We have our suspicions, though.
"I never, ever could have conceptualized something like this happening based upon an immature, selfish choice that I made," Suleman said.
Well, if there's one way to resume living a normal life and maintain a low public profile, it's by going on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Oh, wait…
The full, hardball-promising episode, which will feature the Oprah crew's night spent inside the Suleman home, airs tomorrow.
