There is no crime scene because there was no crime.

That's the word on the domestic drama that entangled CSI's Gary Dourdan last month.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office opted not to file domestic violence charges against Dourdan's girlfriend, Maria Asis del Alamo, after both explained that it wasn't a violent argument they were having—apparently prompting a prying neighbor to phone the cops—but actually a wild bedroom romp.

Good times, indeed.

Officers eventually hauled away the 21-year-old Spanish model in handcuffs against the wishes of Dourdan, who, per the incident report, had scratches and bruises on his neck.

Instead of charges, the couple got a lecture from prosecutors.
"We take a look at the facts and we felt the city attorney hearing would be the most appropriate action," explains city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan. "We bring both parties in and advise them on what the law is. It happens in our office."

In other words, next time turn down the volume.
