Forget triple axels! It's the jive that did in Evan Lysacek.

When he told us of his aches and pains earlier this week, we just assumed the Olympic gold medalist was feeling the heat of the first Dancing With the Stars elimination. We didn't realize the infamous curse had reared its ugly head yet again.

The figure skating champ has a pair of broken toes, he tweeted earlier today. But Nicole Scherzinger shouldn't stop watching her back yet—he's not about to let a little ding like that keep him and partner Anna Trebunskaya from attempting parquet perfection.

"Feeling better with some pain killers and taping. I trained all day yesterday and today. Felt better in my skate actually," he wrote a few hours later. "I will not let a couple broken toes effect any of my planned appearances for Smuckers Stars on Ice or Dancing with the Stars!!!!"

"He has two broken toes that he mentioned he got during the jive," Evan's rep tells E! News. But he's still rehearsing the quickstep and performing in Stars on Ice every night. God love him."

Forget managing his pain—we want to know where he gets the energy to do both physical activities all day!

While we're sure those footsies hurt, Evan's injury doesn't hold a candle to any of our Top Five.
