"I'm bisexual," the engaged True Blood star announces in a new PSA for the Give a Damn campaign, a project started by Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund, fighting for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality.

"One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country," she said.

Paquin is just one of many stars declaring her sexuality at the start of the video, though she is the only one whose proclamation comes as something of a surprise—Clay Aiken and Lauper herself also state their preference in this particular announcement.

Also participating in the campaign are Wanda Sykes, Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Eric Roberts, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, Jason Mraz, Judith Light, Cynthia Nixon, Kevin Alejandro and Kim Kardashian. Find out more at wegiveadamn.org.
