It took her a few years, but Stephanie Edwards has finally made a name for herself. Of course, we seriously doubt this is what she had in mind.

Like so many American Idol also-rans before her, the sixth-season contestant has earned her 15 minutes the dubious way, finding herself on the wrong side of the law. The 22-year-old, who finished in 11th place on the Jordin Sparks-crowning season, was busted in Savannah last night after brawling with another woman.

"It was a fight," Chatham County sheriff's spokeswoman Gina Moore told E! News. "It happened around 10 o'clock last night. It was pretty basic. She was arrested and charged and bailed out relatively quickly."

The fight erupted after the wannabe songbird went to the home of a woman she claimed had been harassing her, and the confrontation turned physical.

Edwards was in and out of custody by midnight. So her lack of staying power does have its benefits, after all.
