Good things come to those who wait.

By our count, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher waited out their engagement for six years before finally tying the knot in Paris last week.

E! News has confirmed that the low-key couple swapped vows in a small, private Jewish ceremony in the City of Light on March 15, with their 2-year-old daughter, Olive, among the half-dozen on hand to witness the vow swap.

Though that may be because they were given "very little notice" prior to the big day in order to keep the ceremony as quiet as possible.

"We did it—we're married!" Isla reportedly boasted in an email sent to friends (who apparently saw fit to forward it to the tabloid) the next day, per Australia's Woman's Day. "It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much."

"I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss—just us!"

The 34-year-old Aussie Fisher and 38-year-old Brit Cohen met back in 2002. No doubt part of the reason for their longish engagement was that Fisher opted to convert to Judaism prior to walking down the aisle.

The paparazzi, meanwhile, wasted no time in snapping shots of the newlyweds in Paris over the weekend, taking special care to get the money shot of Isla's newly baubled ring finger. The duo quietly returned to Los Angeles, which they subsequently flew right back out of yesterday—though not before, should further proof be needed, paparazzi also got shots of Cohen's newly ringed finger, too.

The duo were believed to be en route to Brazil for a belated honeymoon.

We hear it's very niiice this time of year. Congrats!
