Michael Bryan left behind hundreds of loved ones.

About 450 people packed into a chapel near the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Provo, Utah, to say good-bye to Marie Osmond's son, who jumped to his death from his L.A. apartment building on Feb. 26.

"Thank you for those beautiful 18 years," Osmond said during a brief eulogy. Other speakers included six of Michael's seven siblings. Michael was one of five children adopted by Osmond and her ex-husband Brian Blosil, with whom she also has two biological children. She also has a son with first husband Steve Craig.

"He was an intricate part of our family," said 26-year-old Stephen Craig, Osmond's eldest son. "Each member of our family and every person here is better for having met him."

Added sister Rachel Blosil, 20: "He was a man of his word. He wasn't a talker, he was a doer. He was reliable. He knew my hopes, he knew my dreams, my secrets, things that nobody knows. He was my best friend."

The service concluded with Osmond and brothers Donny, Alan, Merrill, Jay, Wayne and Jimmy singing a traditional Mormon hymn. Their older brothers, Tom and Virl, who are deaf, signed the words.

Following the funeral, Michael's silver coffin was interred at East Lawn Memorial Hills cemetery in Provo. Mourners wrote personal messages to the teen on orange balloons, then released them into the sky.
