We hate to say it, but the latest Bachelor lovebirds, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, are actually pretty darn cute together!

Blasphemy, we know, but after chatting with the twosome following their not-so-shocking finale Monday night, we're kinda sorta digging "the next Trista and Ryan," as Vienna is self-touting.

So when's the wedding? And why did they refuse to watch last night's finale? Here's what they tell us...

ABC/Greg Zabilski

Jake and Vienna are not rushing into wedding bliss just yet. In fact, they're just happy to be able to see each other in the real world!

"We haven't set a wedding date, but we're thinking the next year or two. We want to have some fun together, travel, experience life," says Vienna, before Jake interjects: "Go see movies and go out to a restaurant together for the first time."

And even though Vienna was the long-rumored winner, her lips remained sealed until last night. "We couldn't tell anybody. I'm not a good actress at all, so it was difficult for me." The best part of being out in the open? That mayjah piece of bling Jake placed on her ring finger in the finale! "They didn't let me have the ring, so this is the first day I get to wear it out in public."

Contrary to the final rose-receiver's surge of confidence throughout the season, Vienna tells us she wasn't necessarily expecting a proposal. "I knew he was in love with me, and I knew I was in love with him and I wanted to spend my life with him," she says, "but I didn't know he was going to propose to me."

"It's a giant love story," Jake gushes, before turning to his bride-to-be and saying, "You're my best friend in the whole world, and that's the most important thing to me." (Seriously, we couldn't make this stuff up, and as cheesy as it sounds, we promise it was really sweet. Maybe the editors never let us see this chemistry to conceal the finale?)

And while they call it a love story now, it was just a few hours ago that Jake was also professing his love on national television to what's-her-face, that other finalist. You know, Tenley—the one who "s--ts rainbows." Just don't expect that little bump in the road to deter these two. In fact, they didn't even see the finale.

"It was extremely difficult, so we didn't watch it," Vienna explains. Adds Jake, "We've talked about it a lot. That first night, I said goodbye to Tenley, and it was a real somber night. I said, 'I want to tell you what I feel, where I am, and this is probably going to be very upsetting, but this is the way I really want to start because we got such a great start on the show. Now that it's over, I just really want you to know the man you fell in love with. I probably hurt your feelings.' "

"It was hard," Vienna says, "but what's made us so strong and so close is that we are so honest with each other about everything."

Sounds like our Bachelor lifeline Chris Harrison wasn't so far off when he told us Jake had found the real deal during his reality stint!

As for all the tabloid bashing Vienna has taken over the past few months, she and Jake just laugh it off. "I don't feel sorry for Vienna," Jake teases. "[Now] it's like, 'Oh my gosh, have you read this one?! It's awesome!' "

"The only thing I got out of this was the love of my life," Vienna says. "And that's all I wanted. The only thing I went on the show to find was him, and I got everything I wanted. I had no idea I was going to have personal attacks toward me and my family, especially for things that are no true. It's hurtful."

And the one comment she will make on the rumors?

"I want to say that almost everything you've read in those tabloids is completely fabricated...they've paid for those stories, and no, they're not true at all."

As for what's next, we all know the answer to that—Jake's headed to Dancing With the Stars, and he already has a No. 1 fan. "I'm going to be his biggest cheerleader. I'm going to be there every time he's on stage," promises Vienna. And Jake says, "We were going to move to Texas immediately, but now we are going to be temporarily in Los Angeles with Dancing With the Stars. One of the greatest things about Vienna—she has been such a backbone in helping me get ready for DWTS, and just being such a support and encourager to pour everything you are into this. I can't wait to be able to dance on that level."

"I'm not desperate to get married," says Jake, "but I was desperate to find the right girl. And I have. I'm no longer the Bachelor."

Do you believe it's the real deal? See for yourself in the video above, and don't miss more of Jake and Vienna's sitdown on E! News tonight starting at 7 p.m. and then again at 11:30 p.m. Andrew Firestone will also pop up on tonight's Daily 10 at 7:30 p.m. on E! for more Bachelor fun.
