After spending time shopping with the kids while mom shoots her movie The Tourist, you can't blame Brad Pitt for wanting a little one-on-one with Angelina Jolie.

Which is just what the actor got on Wednesday when he took his significant other out for an intimate dinner at Restaurant Laurent, a top Paris eatery near the Eiffel Tower.

So, other than romance, what was on the menu?

Angie dined on an Argentinean steak served with mini leeks, shiitake mushrooms and ginger with a soy milk drink, while Brad tucked into a dish of black truffle, artichoke and radish and two glasses of red wine.

"It was all very low-key. They arrived together…hand-in-hand and looking very happy," fellow diner Carl Georges tells E! News. "Both of them were chatting and laughing throughout their meal."

And it seems the waiters had plenty to smile about as well.

"Brad left a 200 Euro tip in cash, which was around 50 percent of the cost of the dinner," Georges pointed out.

Chivalrous and generous? Not a bad combo.
