Quick show of hands: Everyone still abiding by Tiger Woods' heartfelt (if laughably misguided) proclamation not to blame his wife for his behavior over the past few months? Good. Moving on...

Woods is clearly getting the hang of this apology thing, as both he and Elin Nordegren have written—or at least cosigned had their names attached to—a letter to fellow put-upon parents at the Windermere, Fla., school attended by their 2-year-old daughter, Sam.

So what exactly are they apologizing for? Pretty much everything. Except that.

"We would like to share our appreciation for your support over the past several months and offer our personal apology for any inconvenience you are experiencing due to the increased media scrutiny surrounding our children," the duo wrote in the undated letter obtained by the crack news team (and we're guessing parents of preschool-aged kids) at the local station WFTV.

"We truly understand how frustrating it can be," they continue, referring to the unrelenting surge of paparazzi staking out the school since Tiger's Thanksgiving revelations.

"We hope that the paparazzi will find something better to do with their time in the near future. In the meantime, it is our goal to keep life as normal as possible for our children. We are sure that as parents you can appreciate that. For Sam, that normalcy means attending the school that she enjoys so much."

The working-it-out couple went on to thank the community for its support and signed the letter, perhaps promisingly, "Elin and Tiger Woods."

See? Sometimes Tiger can put his wife first. Even if it is only on a signature.
