Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan may have a quiet demeanor, but her former London neighbors say she's just the opposite.

The 24-year-old An Education actress and her three roommates were evicted from their apartment two years ago for "rowdy behavior" and "wild parties," the U.K.'s Daily Mail reports.

"We had to get rid of them—it was getting too noisy," a nearby dweller at the Cholmeley Lodge tells the newspaper. "They always had people coming and going. There was shouting and music playing late at night."

Several of the flatmates worked at a pub and, according to the neighbor, when it closed, the party would move to the residence.

"They would come down thinking they'd carry on here and have a few drinks, but it got too noisy for the other residents—they got very angry about it," the neighbor dishes. "Doors would be left open with people coming in and out. There was shouting and the music was enough to wake people. Most of the residents here are professionals and it got too much…Their contract was for a year, and when it came up for renewal, the board asked them to leave."

These days, as the rising starlet spends time with BF Shia LaBeouf and celebrates her BAFTA win and her upcoming Oscar moments, Carey likely has plenty to shout about. We just hope she has less finicky neighbors.
