To this day, the Seaver family still cares and wants the best for Richard "Boner" Stabone.
In a written statement released Monday, Kirk Cameron sent his well wishes and prayers out to old pal and Growing Pains costar Andrew Koenig, who has been reported missing after last being seen in Vancouver.
"I am very concerned to hear of the disappearance of my old friend Andrew Koenig," said the actor and Christian activist, who is best known for playing rascally teen Mike Seaver on the 1985-92 series.
"I can remember many of the fun times we had on the set of Growing Pains. I am praying for his family during this time of distress and for his safe return."
Friends and family haven't seen Koenig since Feb. 14. They reported the 41-year-old missing after he never showed for a Feb. 16 flight from Vancouver to the U.S.
"Andrew, if you're reading this, please call me," Cameron added. "Mike and Boner could always work things out when they put their minds to it. I'm praying for you, pal. Hope to hear from you soon."
Jeremy Miller, who played younger brother Ben Seaver, is also wishing for the best.
"It is really sad to hear what is going on," he said in a statement. "Andrew is a talented guy and my family and I are hoping for a positive outcome of this situation."
Koenig is said to have suffered from depression.
Vancouver authorities have said that they are conducting an active missing persons investigation and Koenig's family is receiving daily updates; however, the trail technically went cold on Feb. 14. The last confirmed sighting of the missing man was in the 1,001-acre Stanley Park.
Police Constable Tim Fanning tells E! News that, thanks to the media attention, tips as to Koenig's whereabouts have been flooding in.
"Again, right now we feel like we've really exhausted our resources on this case," Fanning says. "So that is good news. Our detectives are following up on a number of new tips."
