Alexander McQueen may have died, but his legacy and his fashion company will move forward.

The fashion label, whose namesake and creative director committed suicide last week, will continue making fancy, celebrity-friendly clothes, according to PPR SA, which owns it.

"The trademark Alexander McQueen will live on," chairman and chief executive officer Francois-Henri Pinault said in a presentation in Paris earlier today. "We believe a lot in that brand. It has huge potential."

Plus, not only will there be a McQueen show during Paris Fashion Week, but it sounds like the designer's employees will keep their jobs.

"Lee was very proud of the people working in his company, and so am I," Pinault said.

We're sure the folks at Fashion Police are plenty relieved to hear this news and look forward to seeing the label's wares on the red carpet for years to come.
