The last time Jason Mesnick appeared on national TV with his fiancée and so-called love of his life, things didn't go well. (For her, that is. At least not until Dancing With the Stars came a-calling.)

But despite all odds, the infamous flip-flopping Bachelor is still together with soul mate No. 2 and is tempting both fate and the ratings gods by agreeing to appear with her on ABC one more time.

For their wedding.

Mesnick and the second-choice love of his life, Molly Malaney, are set to tie the knot in front of their closest Nielsen box-bearing friends on March 8, in the oh-so-creatively titled The Bachelor: Jason and Molly's Wedding.

The show will chronicle all the steps leading up to her big day, including her dress fitting, the planning stages, their bachelor and bachelorette parties and, of course, the ceremony itself.

It's worked before: Back in 2002, our favorite Bachelorette, Trista Rehn, tied the knot with TV and real-life (see, it does work out sometimes) love Ryan Sutter to both personal and professional success. The couple is still together and have two kids; ABC managed to score more than 17.1 million viewers.

That's what you call a win-win.

And while Jason and Molly aren't exactly as beloved now as Trista was in her heyday, everyone loves a wedding, right? OK, maybe not everyone.

Melissa Rycroft might want to disconnect her cable for this one.
