Something tells us Susan Boyle didn't dream a dream about coming home to a nightmare.

The songbird returned to her Scotland flat after a few days away to work on Simon Cowell's Helping Haiti charity single, only to find more than her cats. A teenage male intruder gave her quite a fright before he ran out, the BBC confirms.

"The owner was very distressed to find someone had been within her home," a spokesman for the Lothian and Borders Police Department said.

Thankfully, Susan is doing A-OK.

"I'm fine," the 48-year-old said after waving at well-wishers outside the house. "It's in the hands of the police now."

A 16-year-old was questioned but released without charge. The authorities are urging witnesses to come forward.
