Not everyone who switches time slots does so unwillingly.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her jock hubby, Tim, will participate in a cross-promotional job swap later this month, when the conservative chatterbox brings her views to ESPN's NFL Live and her mister, in turn, becomes the only dog in daytime's biggest catfight.

"So many times we ask, 'How did work go today?' " Elisabeth said of the switcheroo. "Undoubtedly we will be finding out the hard way as we switch jobs. The question then will be, 'What have we gotten ourselves into?' "

And the question on Viewers' minds when Tim takes a hot seat on Jan. 28 will no doubt be, "He can't do any worse, right?"

The former footballer joins a short—albeit not that illustrious—group of menfolk who've participated in the daytime roundtable, joining Regis Philbin, James Denton, Bo Bice, Cameron Mathison, Mario Cantone, Terrence Howard and Ricardo Chavira as the only dudes who dared sit in.

Elisabeth, for her part, will play NFL analyst next Tuesday, with a behind-the-scenes feature on her day airing during Tim's one-episode tenure on The View later in the month.
