Haiti needs help, and Hollywood is making an effort.

Joining Wyclef Jean, whose Yéle Haiti Foundation raised relief funds in the wake of Hurricane Gustav and other tropical storms that battered the area in 2008, stars such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey, Ben Stiller, Adam Lambert, Paris Hilton, Coldplay's Chris Martin and many more have sounded the call to send support to the island nation.

The big-pocketed Jolie-Pitt Foundation pledged $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, one of Brangelina's pet causes, which has said it will be flying in additional staff and a portable hospital to treat those injured by the massive earthquake that rocked the island nation Tuesday.

The couple, who have toured the island to assist Wyclef's Yéle Haiti charity, earlier issued the following statement: "We are devastated by the news from Haiti. We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter."

Winfrey made a plea to her audience Wednesday to support the Red Cross. "Be of service," she said. "This is a time where we, as a global nation, should come together and support those who are in need."

Usher issued a statement steering those interested to his own charitable organization. "With Haiti in a state of emergency right now, young people do have the power to save lives. I am asking young people of all ages to mobilize by organizing local fundraisers with the proceeds going to their peers in Haiti. This is one way we all can make a difference."

Twitter provided a platform for Stiller, Kim Kardashian, Holly Madison, Alyssa Milano, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Patridge and many more to urge action.

"We can all make a difference. Do it. Do it. RT @RedCross:Text"Haiti" to 90999. 100% of your $10 donation to @RedCross for Haiti relief," tweeted Dita Von Teese, echoing the sentiments of many.

Oxfam America and UNICEF are also currently collecting for Haitian earthquake relief.

As for Jean's foundation, texting "Yele" to 501501 from your cell will automatically donate $5 to the Yelé Haiti Earthquake Fund (charged to your bill), or visit www.yele.org to make donations.
