Lost Star Robber Sentenced

Lost, Josh Holloway ABC

Just like Sawyer, the guy who held up Josh Holloway and his wife at gunpoint won't be going anywhere for awhile.

Ruben Royce, who was convicted of armed robbery and subsequently pleaded guilty to 34 related counts in February as part of a plea deal, was officially sentenced Tuesday to 13 to 30 years in prison.

The perp's attorney said earlier this year that he would try to shave as much time as possible off his client's original three-decade sentence. "He stepped up, because he is hoping to turn his life around," lawyer Terry Marshall said.

Royce copped to committing five home-invasion robberies in 2005. In October of that year, he broke into Josh and Yessica Holloway's Oahu home, where he demanded cash, credit cards and jewelry before driving off in the actor's Mercedes. Royce was arrested about a week later after breaking into another house and roughing up his girlfriend.
