Miley Cyrus' Tour Bus in Deadly Crash

Disney star not on board when vehicle overturns on slick Virginia road, killing driver and injuring at least one passenger

UPDATE 2: E! News has obtained audio of two 911 calls made by what sounds like two different people on the bus that crashed. In the first, the caller tells the dispatcher that the driver is "losing color," while the second caller says that he has gone into cardiac arrest.

The driver of the bus, whose identity has not been released, is the sole fatality.

"There were 10 people on board the bus that crashed and one is a fatality," Molner said. "One is a minor injury and that person was transported to Southside Regional Hospital in Petersburg."

The crash took place around 8:15 a.m. in the town of Dinwiddie, roughly 40 miles south of Richmond. While the cause of the fatal accident is not yet known, Virginia State Police confirm that the roads were wet at the time.

The bus was en route to Greensboro, N.C., where Cyrus' next concert is scheduled to take place Sunday night.

"They were coming from Nassau, N.Y.," Molner said. "Currently they are clearing up the scene and the other buses have left and gone to another location."

Cyrus, last seen channeling Pretty Woman-era Julia Roberts, has yet to comment on the accident. However, a tour source told E! News that she is very close to her production crew and "knows almost all of them on a first-name basis."

The Hannah Montana actress was originally planning to throw herself a 17th birthday party on Monday night in North Carolina but "now that looks like it's not gonna happen," the insider added.

While the accident is the worst event to befall the Wonder World tour since the launch in September, it's not the first hiccup.

Cyrus was forced to reschedule two performances after a bout with strep throat last month.

The 45-date North American jaunt had been scheduled to conclude on Dec. 2—before heading overseas for a handful of European dates— but the immediate future of the trek is now in doubt.
