Lisa and Harry Have a Commons Problem

Lisa Rinna may have turned off the lights, but it's possible she still forgot something when she left her Calabasas store.
The TV host and hubby Harry Hamlin have been sued for back rent they supposedly owe on the former location of their clothing boutique Belle Gray, which closed earlier this month, according to a complaint filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
The Commons at Calabasas, a swanky shop-and-eat area in the moneyed San Fernando Valley enclave, says the couple up and left the storefront four years into a 10-year lease, owing $635,083.73 in back rent and damages.
But oh, not so fast, tweets Rinna.
The Melrose Place 1.0 star wrote on Twitter today that their version of events is "a very different story. Let the games begin!"
"Due to the recession we had to close our store at the Commons," she continued. "We tried desperately for a year to keep it open...We had hoped to settle this privately and in court but I see that the Caruso co would rather play this out in the press. Shame." (Real estate tycoon Rick Caruso owns the Commons, the Grove and other hot retail spots around the Southland.)
"We tried to get them to negotiate with us Many times to NO avail so we had no choice but to close does it suck yes it does! Are we alone NO!"
Belle Gray is named for Rinna and Hamlin's daughters, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray. There's another location in Sherman Oaks.
"Our store in sherman oaks is thriving," Rinna wrote, "and our Landlord helped us through the rough patch as all landlords are doing in the retail biz."
