Venting About Intervening

I think the element of surprise is part of the point of an intervention

Michael Lohan is speaking out that he wants to stage an intervention for Lindsay.  He had a conversation with Dina Lohan about it, then later said "You can't just talk about it and tell me you want to do an intervention and then do nothing."  He also said that Dina needs to get on the same page as him, and that over the next couple of weeks he's going to be doing things in a "pretty public way."  He's so stupid.  I thought the point of an intervention was to surprise the person, catch them off guard so that they might actually listen to you.  I don't think you're supposed to call up and say "Hey, we're having an intervention for you at 3, hope you can make it!"  However, I've seen pictures of Lindsay recently, and I agree that she needs this. I do think they should have a separate intervention for her face.
