We love you, Miley Cyrus, but seriously, enough already.

We followed you on Twitter until the bitter end. We pondered a world without Miley tweets alongside your closest friends and family. We even humored your hip-hop-tinged sayonara send-off. Did we really need another Twittergate address?

Apparently—or at least Miley thinks so. The tween queen took to her website to send one final (we hope!) explanation to her former Twitterverse:

"You all are the closest thing to my heart & it breaks my spirit to hear that some of you feel neglected since I deleted my twitter. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to you..."

But the starlet makes a good point: "In the end it is still a business and I do need some sort of a 'normal' life as well. I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don't seem to have much of a private life any more and part of that is my fault."

"How can I whine about my life being to public if I am the one telling the world what I am doing? I need to be able to live and learn in private," explains the starlet. "I never want to quit entertaining it is my life, my love, and my passion but I can't have my personal life be other peoples entertainment."

Miley isn't discriminating against tweeting in general. "This isn't a personal attack on Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on," she says. "This is not an attack against this particular site, I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace."

What does the new and improved Miley have planned for the future? "I have very little free time and the moments that I do have I should be spending with my family and friends and loving every minute of their company."

As for rumors that maybe-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth was behind the sudden change, Miley says that she hopes "true fans know how stupid that is." In fact, "Liam is a wonderful friend and he did not try to make me delete my page, he just helped me realize how much time I was wasting on that site."

So there you have it folks. Liam is still just a friend and Miley is happier getting back to a simpler time.
