Be your own hero. Or at least your own boss.

Fresh on the wheels of the disappointing box office of Whip It, Ellen Page has just signed a deal to write and produce a comedy for HBO, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will partner with actors Alia Shawkat and Sean Tillmann.

It's unclear whether Page or her cohorts will star, but we'll put in our request now for a Diablo Cody and Drew Barrymore cameo.

As befitting the Oscar-nominated star of Juno, Page's project Stitch N' Bitch is reportedly about the perils of hipsterism. The comedy concerns two artistically inclined young women who migrate from Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood all the way to L.A.'s Silver Lake.

We're guessing culture shock is not going to be a problem.
