Kanye West wants to work on himself all right—on stage.

Last night, Mr. Sincerity went on The Jay Leno Show and proclaimed that he was taking a break to reflect on his Taylor Swift-jacking at last weekend's VMAs. But it turns out the "Heartless" rapper's soul-searching hiatus isn't going to cut into his planning of his massive fall tour with Lady Gaga.

"After this, I need to just take some time off and analyze how I'm going to make it through the rest of this life, how I'm going to improve, because I am a celebrity and that's just something I'm going to have to deal with."

We've now learned the hypocritical hip-hopster and Gaga will kick off their "Fame Kills" trek Nov. 10 in Phoenix. It will then crisscross North America for three months before wrapping up Jan. 24 in Dallas, per RollingStone.com. Tickets go on sale Sept. 16.

Taylor, we hope, gets hers comped.

The rest of the VMAs were far less embarrassing for those involved. Check out some highlights in our 2009 MTV Video Music Awards gallery.
