Top Chef Serves Up a Patriotic Meal

Kicking off the episode with a Quickfire of small potatoes, the cheftestants are soon enlisted for an all-American challenge that takes them to Nellis Air Force Base, home of the high-flying demonstration squadron known as the Thunderbirds.

Tasked with creating dishes for hundreds of pilots and their families in four hours, the chefs must put aside their competitive natures—as well as fancy stuff like pots and pans—to get the job done. They aren't told what ingredients they'll have, either.

Under the leadership of Jennifer, who won the potato challenge, Ashley, Kevin and the crew seem determined not to let the USAF down. Do they pull it off?
