For his handsome, GQ-in-training cover shoot for Teen Vogue, he comes up with some clever ways to say "no comment," when questioned about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's romance, as well as his own with Selena Gomez.
Not surprisingly, Taylor didn't confirm or deny any real-life chemistry between the vamp and his hot human.
"It's crazy, but the fans help," he answers cryptically. "They're a big part of the motivation."
We're not entirely sure what this means either. Is he referring to fans motivating Rob and Kristen to hook up or fans motivating the mass-speculation of their coupledom by writers like us? Argh.
As for Selena, all Tay-Tay would say about his rumored fling with the Wizards of Waverly Place starlet was that "she's a great girl."
He wouldn't even go on to share if she was a good hugger or if they liked the same toppings on their frozen yogurt. What a tease.
However, he was realistic about his newfound fame courtesy of the Twilight Saga, and, for that, we have to show some respect.
"I think the fans would love anybody who played Jacob," he said. "I'm just lucky to be the one who got the chance."
