NeNe Leakes is on a mission to meet Anderson Cooper.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star tells me she doesn't understand why the Silver Fox of CNN hasn't called her. After all, it was way back in November that he came out as one of her biggest fans.

"I follow him on Twitter and he follows me," NeNe tells me. "But we haven't talked. I'm going to New York in August, and I swear to God I'm going to his office and knocking on the door. I'm going to be like, ‘What is your problem? Why haven't you called me?'"

Never one to hold her tongue, NeNe and I talked about so much more. Read on to find out what she says about clashing with Atlanta's new Housewife, the catfight that ended with wig-pulling, and why she feels for Kate Gosselin.

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss replaces DeShawn Snow in Atlanta's second season, which premieres Thursday. She and NeNe didn't mix well. NeNe blames on-again off-again pal Kim Zolciak for the tension.

"I think Kim has been feeding negative things about me," NeNe says. "And instead of Kandi getting to know me for herself, she just prejudged me…Most people like me, but I just find women who are very weak let someone get it in their ear and they prejudge."

Meow. Meow. Meow.

And that's certainly not the only drama going around. A promo for upcoming episodes shows one argument ending with Sheree Whitfield pulling Kim's wig—yes, pulling her wig!

"Last year Sheree and Kim were friends, but this year she pulls Kim's wig," NeNe says, laughing. "Drama, honey! I was right there, too. I was like, I don't know whether to stop y'all or say, ‘Keep going!'"

Are these Georgia divas trying to give the Garden State ladies of The Real Housewives of New Jersey a run for their catfight money? You betcha.

"We're the queens, honey," NeNe says. "We're back to take our crowns. New Jersey don't have nothing on us! They flipped a table, but we go and flip some weaves."

And what would a conversation with a reality television star be without some commentary on Jon & Kate Plus 8? NeNe certainly relates to the ups and downs of newfound celebrity.

"It's exciting and somewhat overwhelming," she says. "Nobody gives you rules. You just have to figure it out on your own…You have to be strong, but eight children for a woman by herself? That's a lot."
