Jon Gosselin's Hailey Used to Being Hated?

Exclusive, bitchy info about young Hailey Glassman, and is she just too young for Jon?

A source very close to the A.T. has sent us an absolute gem of a picture of Hailey Glassman—you know, Jon Gosselin's 22-year-old secretly engaged honey whom he started dating less than two weeks after divorcing Kate—from when she was at sleepaway camp in 1995.

"She's the ugly, short-haired one on the bottom left," sassed our source, a far more normal twentysomething than divorcé-devoted Hailey. "I remember her as a complete outcast who everyone made fun of. From what I remember, her only friends were the counselors and she was so weird. I don't think she stayed past 1995."

For the bitchy record, we called the camp about getting the permission to run the photo, and darlings, they just weren't feeling it. "That's not something our company would be interested in," sapped the negative-nancy staffer. Jeez, you would think a quiet, family-friendly camp in New England was trying to avoid being in a glitzy gossip blog, now wouldn't you? Weird.

Now, we're not so heinous ourselves here that we would actually poke fun at a young girl for being teased when she was a kid, whether she was unfortunately coiffed or not (and believe us, kiddies, she was). But what really tickles our fancy is...

The idea that while Hailey was living it up at camp in Massachusetts, Jon was of college age in God-knows-where Wisconsin.

Here are some visuals for you: Hailey is making macaroni picture frames for mom; Jon is buying cigarettes at a local liquor store. Hailey is watching the camp talent show; Jon is enjoying his first visit to a strip club. Hailey is being teased for her Hilary-Swank-in-Boys-Don't-Cry 'do at age 8; Jon is 18 and planning his trip to backpack through Europe. Seriously?

A 10-year age gap isn't that weird on its own—after all, Ashton and Demi are separated by 15 years, Tom and Katie by 17 and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones by a whopping 25. But how creepy is it when you see a picture like this of the younger spouse to make you feel all weird and bothered inside? Seeing Hailey as such a vulnerable young girl not so long ago just makes us feel bad for the poor princess who suddenly finds herself hated in every tabloid simply because she's doing the divorced daddy of Kate's eight.

Could it be she's already accustomed to the ribbing?
