Depp Fans Urge a Little More Wrist Action

Johnny Depp doesn't sport all that jewelry just to look hot. (That's just a by-product.)

In advance of his 45th birthday on June 9, Johnny's Angels—a club whose members share both a love for the Sweeney Todd star and a yen for doing good—is urging fellow fans to don a Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition memorial bracelet (which Depp has been spotted wearing) in honor of the brave kids involved with the organization and the way they've touched the lives of others.

Depp's wristwear is imprinted with the phrase "Today Is a Gift...Have Fun," but other choices include "Only Love" and "Live and Love It Up." The messages are printed on a silver bar on a silver or leather band and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the CHPCC.

"Thanks to organizations like Johnny's Angels, more and more people are learning about the work of [CHPCC]," said cofounders Lori Butterworth and Devon Dabbs. "With the support of Mr. Depp's fans, we know that we'll be better able to make a difference in the lives of children with life-threatening conditions and their families."

Other celebs who have worn the bracelets: Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Mandy Moore, Jeremy Piven, Kiefer Sutherland, Nia Vardalos, Bradley Whitford, Jane Kaczmarek and Tom Bergeron.

johnny depp is still so hot and he"s got his act together since he met the girl in paris and left california and new york. he"s had his fun, and it wasn"t that bad and didn"last that long. i really give him a lot of credit for that. all these new girl singers and actresses are totally out of control, have no morals or values. it"s disgusting, i have no respect for them. 14 or 15 year olds taking off their clothes drinking taking drugs just to get in the spot light. johnny wasn"t in the papers every day when he was younger getting popular. he"s great and all ways will be in my books. he seems very down to earth and would be easy and fun to talk to and i wish i could. you go johnny you are the best and keep on making movies. i love you! you are so foxy and dreamy,all my love, katie p.s. all you crazy hollywood girls get your **** together * your all just getting used and exploited, can"t you see that? your not role models for young girls, why don"t you get some class, find out what it is

Johnny cares for everyone and especially childen. The Angels organization envelops everything that Depp stands for and believes in. These women have grabbed a piece of his soul and attempted to make the world a more caring place with their admiration for him!!

I am a proud member of Johnny's Angels and I have had my CHPCC bracelet going on two years now. I have never taken it off. Johnny is one of those rare actors that is not into all of this fame bit. He shares his fortune with people who need it and deserve it. Way to go Johnny and his "Angels." Nicci

I just recently learned about Johnny's Angels and the wonderful work they do. I've ordered my "Dustin bracelet" and also the angel charm available from the Johnny's Angel's website. I've also started using the GoodSearch search engine almost exclusively, since everytime I use it a donation goes to CHPCC. What a simple way to make a difference in someone's life.
