Brüno may be banned in several countries, but the movie's fictional character's home country is applauding it.

Austrian tourism is drastically on the rise since the release of Sacha Baron Cohen's film. Everyone wants to see the Vienna hot spots where the fashion icon strutted the streets.

The country may be a bit frustrated with Brüno constantly linking it back to Hitler, but tourism boss Norbert Kettner is only seeing the film's benefits. Hotel bookings from Britain are up 120 percent, he claims.

"I would like to say quite frankly, thank you, Brüno!" he told the U.K. press.
