Caught! Josh And Diane's Family-Filled Fourth

Diane Lane and Josh Brolin, all smiley and hand-holding, taking the kiddies out for breakfast in West L.A. over the weekend, John O'Groats restaurant.

These two Oscar-nommed beauties have had a rocky history, to say the least, what with their on-again, off-again fighting, but all seemed to be at peace as the fam dined on the Fourth of July. Because smiling for the paparazzi always means everything is smooth sailing in a drama-filled marriage, right?

We still think that D and J have some baggage they need to unpack (both publicly and privately) before we fully buy that they have their Hollywood happy ending.

Also out in the L.A. sun, though not as scandalous but still smolderingly sexy, was...

Brittany Snow, who we still love from American Dreams, looking tan, summery and dressed to kill at a July 4 party hosted by Sobe Lifewater in Santa Monica. We're told Brittany, who has been rumored to have a major diva attitude, was lovely as ever, laughing it up and chatting with her boyfriend, producer Ryan Rottman, and 90210 stars and real-life couple Jessica Stroup and Dustin Milligan.

Relaxing with both friends and fans, B was obviously not deterred by the dozens of bronze beach bodies in attendance. If we remember correctly, though, Britt's got a crazy-hot body that any Independence Day partygoer would be jealous of having.

Enjoying the beach down south was...

Bethenny Frankel, from Real Housewives of New York City, working and playing down in Miami Beach. B escaped her urban NYC life for the weekend to promote her new health book down in Florida. The real story was B's stop at fellow reality "star" Fabian Basabe's restaurant, which threw a mixer for the town's "most fabulous gays." Our source tells us that Bethenny was the hit of the evening, shaking her fabulous body to "I Will Survive," "Supermodel" and "It's Raining Men" with every gay who asked her for a dance.

We assume that one of the chapters in her weight-loss book is devoted to just such an activity. Love it!
